| Quite a clinical nose ? linoleum, putty, some peppermint and smouldering oak. Baker?s dough. All very appealing. It?s equally attractive to taste, with a delicate, silky texture and some chocolate character. A great dram. | |||||||

| Very appealing aromas! Boiled sweets, pear drops and a whiff of smoke. High alcohol but charmingly warm and spicy. A cracking winter dram! | |||||||

| Dusty, minerally (chalk), and herbaceous with evident mint and nettles. Ripe Seville oranges and subtly attractive wood influence. The oranges are still evident on the palate, which is spicy and also displays the good wood balance. A very enjoyable dram that leaves the whole mouth tingling. | |||||||

| Varnish, or gloss paint initially. When you get past that, there are subtle fruit aromas - cherries, blackcurrants and possibly some ripe peach. Pastry dough, and the occasional suggestion of a slight smokiness. The gentle, subtle character continues on the palate, where the delicate winey (off-dry Riesling?) sweetness fades to a creamy, more-ish finish. | |||||||
